Floral Heart A

A fused glass heart, cast in a ceramic mould, which means pieces of glass, coloured, transparent, or opaque have been fused in the kiln to high temperatures to melt everything together.
 
The textural floral details have been made separately by mixing glass powders with water, placing in silicone moulds, freezing, and then firing in the kiln. They are then used to decorate the hearts before a final slow firing.
 
Finished with a satin ribbon and complete with a gift box.
 
These hearts can be hung on a wall, window or door, or you could remove the ribbon and display on a small stand. Another option would be to attach to a box frame to really make it your own.
 
Perfect for gifting for Valentine’s Day, but unique and special for any occasion.
