Blue Rolling Wave

This rolling wave panel consists of two layers of individually hand cut crescents in varying shades of blue, carefully assembled onto a transparent glass circle before firing in the kiln to a temperature which maintains the movement and texture.
 
Tiny particles of iridescent glass are sprinkled between the layers adding an element of sparkle.
 
Foaming sea splashes, separately made with tiny glass pieces, high fired to melt together, then attached to the main body with another kiln firing.
 
Securely attached to a complimentary matching glass stand with up to five layers of glass completes the look.
 
This is indeed a truly one-of-a-kind statement piece of sculptural art.
