Fused Glass 'Seaworld' Bowl

There is so much to see in this bowl, an explosion of under the sea life, creatures and fish in a colourful mix of abstract fused glass beauty.
 
Base circle is a transparent turquoise, the top layer consists of pre cut shapes, each has been decorated by hand using glass paints and granules.
 
There are rolling waves, a dolphin, jellyfish, scallops, starfish, ammonites little tropical fish and much much more.
 
All placed strategically within the glass circle before firing in the kiln.
 
A second firing on a ceramic mould takes place to allow the glass to soften down into the wide bowl shape.
 
Loads of texture and interest in this bowl, a truly one of a kind statement piece of glass art.
