Large Rainbow Surfboard

Bottom layer of glass is covered in a rainbow of powdered glass stripes, before capping with a second layer of glass and firing in the kiln to a temperature of around 795 degrees C.
 
Once fired and cooled, more detailed decoration in the form of waves, fish, bubbles and sea grass has been added by using special glass paints. The piece has then been fired again.
 
A small hole has been drilled to allow white cotton string to be added for hanging.
 
This is a uniquely seaside themed piece, perfect for hanging in anywhere in your home or garden.
