Large Textured Christmas Tree

Two layers of hand cut glass are assembled on a kiln shelf into this large tree shape in shades of turquoise, aqua & blue/greens.
 
Small and large glass granules are added to grout the gaps and add texture.
 
Decorated with specially sourced murrine glass with robins, snowmen, candy cane,  baubles and much more, before firing in the kiln.
 
The tree sits into clips on a hand made yew base which really compliments the tree. This is a deep base which could accommodate tea lights at the back as another option for lighting up.
 
A set of 'rice' battery operated fairy lights are included with this tree, they bring a lovely illumination to the piece.
