A beautiful sea inspired bowl with hand cut crescent shapes representing turbulent tumbling waves on layer one.
Layer two consists of transparent coarse glass pieces, which when fired leave a subtle 'bubble' pattern on the glass.
In shades of green, blue and aquamarine.
Fired three times in the kiln, initially to fuse all the segments together, after some grinding to smooth the edges it is fired again to 'fire polish' and finally in a ceramic mould to achieve the deep bowl shape.
A stunning centrepiece to adorn any kitchen or dining table, would make a wonderful wedding, engagement or housewarming gift.
Hand wash only.
Measures 28 cm in diameter x 7 cm high.
