Spring Meadow Floral Wave

A beautifully textured free standing spring meadow floral screen.
 
The base glass is transparent, with hand cut 'blades of grass' in contrasting deeper shades of green.
 
Previously made 'wafer' flowers, freeze and fuse flowers and various colourful murrine and small wildlife pop from the scene in a profusion of bold yellows and oranges before a very long firing in the kiln, over 24 hours.
 
A further long firing on a ceramic mould to acheive the wavy shape and enable the piece to stand up on its own.
 
This wonderful fused glass screen will make a statement in any home, in any location.
It can also be lit from behind with a candle or set of fairy lights for added atmospheric depth.
